At the Vartius border guard station, it has been discovered that at least some of the asylum seekers who arrived in Finland on Saturday have been moved across the border against their will.
Yesterday, border crossers had been aggressive towards the Russian border authorities as they were pushed from the Russian border post towards Finland and the arrivals were brought in small groups.
- The behaviour of the last group last night, 20 people, seemed to indicate that they did not want to enter Finland," says Jouko Kinnunen, head of the Vartius border post.
According to Mr Kinnunen, shouting was heard at the border, directed at the Russian border authorities.

The Russian news website 47news.ru has published videos and pictures of migrants trying to reach Finland gathered at a Russian border post.
According to the site, the footage was filmed at the Vaalimaa-Torfjanovka border crossing on Saturday morning.
People from Syria, Pakistan and Yemen are sleeping on the floor and benches at the Russian border post. Some of them have no food. What they have to drink is tap water, the website says.
The migrants chant "help me, help me" in English to Finnish border guards across the border, according to videos published by the site.
The video also shows Finnish and Russian border barriers and Finnish authorities in riot gear and their vehicles standing on the other side of the barbed wire barrier.
It is impossible to determine whether the videos involve any kind of staging. Nor is it certain when and where the videos were filmed. The website says it received the videos from the migrants present.
The website says that all the migrants have passports and valid Russian visas, so they can only be turned back to their home countries once their visas expire.
According to the website, Russian traffic police had stopped cars carrying Indians and Syrians whose visas had expired in the city of Luga, south of St Petersburg.
According to the website's preliminary information, some of those seeking to enter Finland had arrived at the border from Belarus, where they had failed to cross the border into Poland.
