    @Eziukas

Well, you base your assumption on the lil tour I gave you of the city centre, though, i only took you to the "city" and just a part of the eastern downtown, the denser and bigger Western downtown we totally missed, just like Liivalaia str business skyline etc ..
You get me Yes all I can tell about Tallinn's center is from that super day in it But still it would be nice if someone will specified an areas of both cities centers in numbers

I thought you said clusters not just a semi-highrise in the middle of an old neighborhood.

/ oh well Its around 800m from Liivalaia skyline.

And lol SemiHighrise - thats what all the secondary clusters of Vilnius are about.
Still, i dont give a rats ass about secundary clusters, the Main thing is the most important, and thats what is bigger in Tallinn than in Vilnius.

Tallinn does not have any comparable to business triangle "secondary cluster" which could add something to whole skyline. And main skyline alone is worse than this: http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/2...titled16qk.jpg (imo)

hehe / that opinion is blind than.
Tallinn has its own business triangle. With Hansabank HQ, Eurox building, Ministry of Finance and Cityresidence.

            Again. 4(tallinn) vs 3(Vilnius)

than theres also Pärnu road: Osten tor and FKSM

and oh well theres alot more

pic (a bit old one, Tornimäe and Cityresidence (just left of Eurox) not built yet And Pärnu road skyline is in the back

Then show me any picture where these clusters will support main skyline. When you'll show such photo - we'll believe you, but now - sorry I don't believe you.

@Marius The old town is just the place where the tourist fueled business and hustle and bustle is going on, most Tallinners act in the city centre
And lol, this is just funny, you are just putting NCC ahead because it has 1 shop, right, well Tallinn's city centre has ALOT more than 1 shop

still, i dont have any pics of the secondary clusters atm, but i will take some as soon as i get some free time
I mentioned "Europa" because it's the most important shop in NCC and there are not only 1 shop for shure Another big shoping center we can count VCUP and in this area there are many other smaller shops and leisure places such as casino.

                        Tallinn for me,

NCC + Victoria cluster + Hanner = it`s possible to see all of this as a theoretically single skyline only from Vingis park (well, a bit closer to Victoria). When you look from Gediminas hill, Taurakalnis hill or Akropolis you can`t see this as a single skyline.

Yeah, althaugh secondary "clusters" do look good alone as well There are also good points from Ozo street (where are Akropolis and Siemens arena) that gathers NCC and secondary clusters into one angle (don't have pics atm).

So far, Riga is behind Vilnius and Tallinn in terms of modern skyline, but in 5-10 years picture will be quite different.

Riga has great medieval skyline and also several impressive landmarks, like TV tower, Saules akmens, Rail bridge, Vanšu bridge + big historical city centre + wide Daugava river + central green belt of Riga.
