Yesterday, Monday, in the Red Sea Governorate, Egypt, the process of embalming the shark attacking the Russian tourist began, by specialists at the Institute of Marine Sciences and Red Sea Reserves, in preparation for displaying it in the institute’s museum. Half of the body of the Russian tourist was extracted from the belly of the shark, namely the head, chest and arms, while the second half was extracted from the sea. The shark fled after the fishermen's boat approached, who confronted the incident and tried to rescue the tourist. The shark was caught by fishermen and transported by the competent authorities to the Institute of Marine Sciences in Hurghada for analysis and dissection, preparing a scientific report on its behavior, and extracting the body of the tourist from inside
