Well - this is how it looked originaly - in Krakow for example buildings never had such vivd colors and you won't see so many buildings like presented above there.

Okay, i see. But it`s still a little bit strange, cause I never could have imagined that this building(example) years ago was red.

Nice, but photos 8 - 11 don't seem to be examples of good renovation.
Why old buildings wasn't rebuilt and new ones were chosen?

You can not reconstruct everything - sometimes you have to fill the gap with a modern building
