I aree with DocentX, charming fact is that there are over 100 bridges linking Wrocław together and Sudety mountains are quite close (Ślęża mountain 718 m high) is seen from the city.


Wrocław is close to many European capital cities:
Berlin - 340 km
Prague - 280 km
Vienna - 400 km

Wrocław is one of my favorite cities in Poland - in my opinion its in top 4 tourist destinations in Poland together with Warsaw, Kraków and Gdańsk
