    [PL] Poznań secession buildings

    Poznan secession reached just in time when, after long decades of confinement in the walls of the Prussian fortress city began its path toward modernity. Connect new neighborhoods, the
    which sets the grid of streets in a metropolitan building - there has been a real boom in construction. So ruled the vast period of prosperity for representatives of all professions related to housing: architects, plasterers, carpenters, decorators . By playing to its former glory Secession building of the city through the prism of the individual achievements of its creators. Most of the buildings were constructed in the end of XIX century and before I World War.

    This set was taken todays morning - it was cold (-3) and quite windy, so my fingers grew numb with cold :-).

      Poznań has a lot of such streets with mansions like that. When most of them will be renovated it would be wonderful place to visit.

      Most tourists don`t even know that there are such districts in Poznań, because this parts of Poznań are remote from Old Market. It`s a pity.

        District Łazarz (before the war: Święty Łazarz) in Poznań city is full of buildings in eclectic style and secession.
